Chong-Ae grew up in Korea then immigrated to the U.S. as a teen. She met her husband, Tulip, from India, at UW-Madison where they both studied Chemical Engineering and they have been married almost 33 years. They have two grown children.
Chong-Ae worked in various leadership positions in the automotive sector for over 20. The Lord called her to serve in the non-profit industry about 10 years ago, then to the International Justice Mission, a Christian ministry that rescues victims from violent oppression in the developing world. She is recent graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) with MA in Christian Leadership. This will help her pursue her passion to help other Christian leaders to live out God’s purpose in their lives with His strength and joy. She recently helped launch the Spiritual Formation program on DTS DC campus, and now serves as the Ministry Formation Fellow helping other seminary students be equipped to enter into their vocational ministry.
Chong-Ae has passion for mentoring and coaching younger leaders to grow in their relationship with Jesus and others in their lives. She loves playing tennis with Tulip, and reading books that strengthen her soul for leadership and serving in the community.
