Parkway Bible Church Missions

Missions and Mercy are part of community life at Parkway Bible Church in Springfield VA

Parkway Bible Church: A church on a mission

Parkway Bible Church deliberately sets aside 25% of all of donations (before expenses) for outside-our-walls missions and mercy efforts.  We are at the exciting beginning of our adventure as a missions-focused church.

Our purpose

The purpose of the Missions and Mercy team is to help the church display God’s heart for the world through the sharing of the good news of the Gospel, and the demonstrations of His generosity and love for every nation, tribe, people and language.

Parkway Bible Church mission trip with Living Water to NicaraguaIn response to God’s love for us and for others, we desire to serve our neighbors so that they also might know Him. We want our words and deeds to point people to our Father in Heaven who is “a father to the fatherless” and “a defender of widows,” who “sets the lonely in families” and “leads forth the prisoners with singing.” (Psalms 68:5-6a)

Get Involved

Missions and mercy are at the heart of Parkway Bible Church. We hope 100% of our attenders will get involved in some way – to give, go, tell, disciple, serve, pray.  There are a variety of ways to get involved with our partner organizations as well as projects throughout the year.

Living Water trips

We regularly send out missions teams – usually twice per year.  If you are interested in going, or just hearing more about it, you can contact Jim at the email address below. We need drillers (male or female) and female hygiene teachers. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a major impact in the lives of many people for generations to come.

For more information about missions, please email us at or check out our new blog here.

When our village saw the fresh water pouring in from the new well, they welcomed not only us but our message of hope in Jesus.” Shay – Church Member
